WHAT MAKES VOILA METHOD UNIQUE?
Structural Joint Balancing is a unique assessment and treatment system created by Joel Crandall, Los Angeles, CA.
It is a new innovative way of helping the body in healing itself. VOILÀ is a dynamic & fluid Structural assessment and treatment tool that allows Michael to save time, while creating long-lasting results. VOILA Method assesses & balances the Cranial Bones, in harmony with the body’s Key stones, in static & Dynamic Movement to create Equilibrium.
The Body is a Pressure Unit that must work in synchronization for maximal results and benefits by SYNCing the diaphragms to create proper pressure within the body so it has true core strength and does not have to rely on breath holding or unnatural Muscle loading to maintain the pressure for Core Stability.
Also, the Voila Method balances out the energy systems, known as Chakras. Emotions in our body can actually end up causing pain to us if they are not released. By balancing out the emotions in our bodies we are able to move more freely and most importably without pain.
How Voila Method Work?
VOILA Structural Joint Balancing is an innovative technique that balances the keystones of the body to create better balance and symmetry. The keystones are specific bones and joints that are assessed and then corrected if necessary with gentle, specific directional, non-force techniques.
Voila is a unique combination of muscle testing and energy work. The premise that Voila Method is based on is that muscular aches and pain, and loss of equilibrium, are secondary and balancing the structure can often help the muscular aches and pain go away. Voila Method balances the body’s electrical system, craniosacaral pumps which are located throughout the body, and the nervous system (the body’s protector). This trumps anything going on with the muscles and fascia. You can expect more long-term results with pain and dysfunction than working directly on the soft tissue with traditional massage, chiropractic, and physical therapy.
Corrections are made in different positions, and movements that need improvement. It may be done lying down, seated, standing, and while doing a specific movement that needs correction. These specific movements can be sport specific, or every-day-life movement specific.
VOILA resolves pain and compromised movement as it restores your equilibrium and true core function. An extremely gentle and non-invasive approach to health, VOILA taps into your body’s ability to heal, be well, and perform at it’s best
What is Energy medicine?
These are therapies reflect the belief that people possess a subtle form of life-force energy that isn’t measurable by modern science. This subtle, unproven energy is often called qi in traditional Chinese medicine, prana in ayurvedic medicine and spirit in Judeo-Christian traditions. Some people refer to it as vital life-force energy or the bioenergetic field (which often gets confused with bioenergetic exchanges, the transfer of verifiable energy among organisms and their environment).
Balancing this proposed life-force energy is the goal of energy therapies. The same goal is shared by more popular mind-body therapies (yoga, qigong and tai chi) and certain healing systems, such as Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture is also based on the belief of life-force energy. However, current research is finding plausible biological explanations for the health effects of acupuncture.
Some scientists propose that verifiable energy may be the only energy at play when therapeutic benefit is experienced through energy therapy.
Whether a subtle, separate energy exists does not change the fact that many people feel therapeutic benefits from energy therapies. The placebo effect may be at play. Since a placebo has a measurable effect in many scientific studies, many people believe that energy therapies can help people with cancer regardless of lacking evidence for life-force energy.
Various physiological actions might underlie the benefits of energy therapies. For example, acupuncture and acupressure points are often located at sites with a high density of nerve and blood vessels, commonly between or at the edges of muscle groups. Stimulation of these areas has physiological effects on the nervous system, musculoskeletal system and endocrine system. The effects of touch, which stimulate the release of feel-good chemicals, such as oxytocin in the brain, might also play a rol
Spiritual healing is similar to touch therapies in that spiritual healers believe they can channel energy into a client’s body to promote healing. However, spiritual healing doesn’t necessarily involve touch and practitioners say it can be performed from a great distance. Spiritual healing is also called intercessory prayer or faith, psychic or distant healing.
Reviews of more than 20 randomized clinical trials of spiritual healing have found no evidence that it helps people recover from cancer or any other ailment.
Chakra balancing is a technique that aims to cleanse and balance the life-force energy in a person’s body. Chakra balancing is offered by a variety of alternative energy healers, such as shamans or Reiki practitioners. Healers use several different methods to balance chakras. Some might involve the use of crystals, stones, essential oils and meditation. No clinical studies have been conducted on chakra balancing and little to no scientific research has investigated the theory of chakras.
Music therapy and sound energy therapy are two types of sound therapy that may benefit people with cancer.
Music therapy is the use of music by trained professionals to encourage relaxation and enhance quality of life in people receiving health care. The hope is to relieve stress and promote well-being. Some people experience reduction of symptoms and improved healing. If you love listening to music, this therapy might be right for you.
Sound Energy Therapy
Sound energy therapy uses instruments or pre-recorded tones to produce sounds that soothe listeners into a state of relaxation. Instruments commonly used during sound energy therapy sessions include Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and tuning forks.
In some energy therapies, practitioners use gentle touch or hover their hands over the patient with the intention of sending energy into the body or balancing energy within the body. Proponents say the benefits of these therapies are a result of enhancing or balancing life-force energy. Others suggest the benefits are a result of factors surrounding the experience, such as the biological effects of touch and the psychological effects of the health care experience.
Reiki is a therapeutic practice based on the idea that a person’s life-force energy can be cleansed, rejuvenated and balanced by transferring energy through the hands of a trained practitioner. A Reiki practitioner places their hands in more than a dozen positions on or over a patient’s body to transfer energy. Proponents say the energy can be sent from a distance as well.
Therapeutic Touch (TT) is similar to Reiki in that a trained practitioner uses his or her hands to send healing energy to a person. This therapy was developed in the early 1970s by Delores Krieger, Ph.D., R.N., a professor of nursing at New York University, and Dora Kunz, a natural healer. Proponents of TT claim the therapy can reduce anxiety, improve healing and treat numerous ailments, from headaches to nausea to cancer.
Microcurrent therapy (MCT) is a non-invasive, highly effective pain relief, using direct current under a millionths of an Ampere (which is highly parasympathetic) enabling the nervous system to rebalance effectively and efficiently out of the fight.flight state especially when used on acupuncture points. This is very effective in releasing scar tissues and adhesions (internal/external scars) even if the scars are 50+ years old.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Microcurrent for healing uses less than a millionth of an ampere or miliAmpere—to the energy pathways of the body. The human body functions through electrical signals shared from cell to cell. The Dolphin neurostim utilizes an advanced ohmmeter based technology to detect and find areas of low resistance such as acupuncture points, motor points, trigger points. Once the electrical patterns are normalized, the healing process can begin in damaged tissues, accelerating recovery time at the cellular level.
WHO DOES IT TREAT?
Microcurrent therapy offers effective pain management for patients seeking treatment for a variety of health issues, including concussion, chronic pain, arthritis, sports injuries, ligament injuries, muscular strains, migraines, edema and neuropathy.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Microcurrent therapy can benefit patients by:
• Improving cellular metabolism of injured tissues
• Relieving pain in nerves, joints, muscles, and tendons
• Increasing circulation and decreasing inflammation
• Accelerating injury recovery
• Increasing range of motion
• Detoxing the body at a cellular level
• Providing advanced healing for sciatica, tendonitis, TMJ, fibromyalgia, bursitis, carpal tunnel, headaches, back injury, and more
